I started CrossFit in 2020. I've always been a pretty active person. Snowboarding and skateboarding, really anything with a board was my jam. I always thought since I was active that's the only workout I needed. But over time my thoughts on that changed.
I started with at home workouts, then I started going to a 24hr gym, did that for years. Eventually everything lined up and I started doing CrossFit. When I started I thought I was going to be on the same level as everyone in the class, was I wrong. In just the warm up alone, my friend, who at the time was 62, smoked me on the bike during the warm up. THE WARM UP! It was at that moment I knew I found the type of fitness I had been looking for and I haven’t turned back since. CrossFit has brought more accomplishments and good times and great people into my life than I ever expected. It’s a challenge every day. The way I look at it is, if you can do one of these tough ass workouts each day to start your day, anything that comes along after will be easy.
